I finally finished 30 days of yoga camp with Adriene! Its a free camp (via YouTube) that I have been practising every morning.
I can’t express how grounded this makes me feel. There’s something about doing yoga, with all its stretching and breathing techniques, first thing in the morning that sets the day up for success.
I was also surprised at the power of her mantras, such as ‘I attract’ and ‘I love’, which has inspired me to include a mantra section on my blog. Just repeating these positive affirmations throughout the day is surprisingly powerful – as a Physics grad, I have always been sceptical of things like The Law of Attraction (what is the science behind it?) but it does actually make sense that positive thinking can only brighten up your day, so why not give it a try?
